   7. SHIPPING AND DELIVERY

7.1. ORDERS WILL BE SHIPPED TO THE SHIPPING ADDRESS PROVIDED BY THE CUSTOMER AT THE TIME OF SUBMITTING THE ORDER. DELIVERY DATE IS APPROXIMATE AND NON-BINDING FOR SUGAR SRL.

7.2. DELIVERY IS AVAILABLE WORLDWIDE. HOWEVER, IN CASE DELIVERY TO ONE COUNTRY SHOULD NOT BE AVAILABLE DUE TO CONTRACTUAL AGREEMENTS BETWEEN SUGAR SRL AND THE MANUFACTURER, THE CUSTOMER RESIDING IN THE AFFECTED COUNTRY WILL NOT BE ABLE TO PURCHASE THE PRODUCT AND SUGAR SRL SHALL NOT BE HELD LIABLE. 

7.3. SHIPPING FEES ARE AT CUSTOMER’S EXPENSE AND MAY VARY DEPENDING ON THE SHIPPING DESTINATION, AS EXPLAINED BELOW:

- ITALY:

SHIPPING FEES: € 10, FOR ORDERS UNDER € 300

SHIPPING FEES: FREE, FOR ORDERS OVER € 300

- EUROPEAN COUNTRIES:

SHIPPING FEES: € 20

EXCISE & CUSTOM DUTIES ARE AT CUSTOMER'S EXPENSE.

- REPUBLIC OF KOREA (SOUTH KOREA):

SHIPPING FEES: € 30

FEES DISPLAYED ON THE WEBSITE FOR THE REPUBLIC OF KOREA DO NOT INCLUDEEXCISE & CUSTOM DUTIES.

EXCISE & CUSTOM DUTIES ARE AT CUSTOMER'S EXPENSE. 

THE APPLICABLE AMOUNT SHALL BE PAID TO THE CARRIER AS DESCRIBED BY THE CARRIER.

 

- SWITZERLAND:

SHIPPING FEES: € 30

FEES DISPLAYED ON THE WEBSITE FOR SWITZERLAND DO NOT INCLUDE EXCISE & CUSTOM DUTIES.

EXCISE & CUSTOM DUTIES ARE AT CUSTOMER'S EXPENSE.

THE APPLICABLE AMOUNT SHALL BE PAID TO THE CARRIER AS DESCRIBED BY THE CARRIER.

 

- UNITED KINGDOM:

SHIPPING FEES: € 20

FEES DISPLAYED ON THE WEBSITE FOR UK DO NOT INCLUDE EXCISE & CUSTOM DUTIES.

EXCISE & CUSTOM DUTIES ARE AT CUSTOMER'S EXPENSE. 

THE APPLICABLE AMOUNT SHALL BE PAID TO THE CARRIER AS DESCRIBED BY THE CARRIER.

 

- UNITED STATES:

SHIPPING FEES: €30

FEES DISPLAYED ON THE WEBSITE FOR THE UNITED STATES DO NOT INCLUDE EXCISE & CUSTOM DUTIES.

EXCISE & CUSTOM DUTIES ARE AT CUSTOMER'S EXPENSE. 

THE APPLICABLE AMOUNT SHALL BE PAID TO THE CARRIER AS DESCRIBED BY THE CARRIER.

IN ORDER TO COMPLETE DELIVERY, THE U.S. BUREAU OF CONSUMER PROTECTION MAY REQUIRE THE SOCIAL SECURITY NUMBER – SSN. 

 

- REST OF THE WORLD:

SHIPPING FEES: SHIPPING COSTS CAN VARY FROM € 30 TO € 70, WILL BE SPECIFIED AT CHECKOUT BEFORE THE CONCLUSION OF THE ORDER.

APPLICABLE EXCISE DUTIES AND IMPORT TAXES ARE AT CUSTOMER’S EXPENSE.

THE APPLICABLE AMOUNT SHALL BE PAID TO THE CARRIER AS DESCRIBED BY THE CARRIER.

 

7.4. IT IS THE CUSTOMER'S RESPONSIBILITY TO CHECK THE QUANTITY AND CONDITIONS OF THE GOODS UPON DELIVERY. IN CASE GOODS ARE DAMAGED OR DO NOT MATCH THE ORDERED QUANTITY, CUSTOMER SHALL IMMEDIATELY NOTIFY THE CARRIER AND SIGN THE DELIVERY NOTE SUBJECT TO CHECKS; CUSTOMER SHALL ALSO NOTIFY SUGAR SRL AT CUSTOMERSERVICE@SUGAR.IT

WITHIN 3 DAYS OF THE DELIVERY DATE.

IN THIS CASE, AGAINST VERIFICATION, SUGAR SRL WILL REPLACE THE MISSING OR DAMAGED GOODS AS PER THE CUSTOMER’S ORDER.

7.5. CUSTOMER MAY CHOOSE TO HAVE THE ORDER DELIVERED AT A SPECIFIC ADDRESS (FROM 9 AM TO 6 PM) OR TO PICK THE ORDER UP AT A UPS OR DHL PICK-UP (FORWARDER) LOCATION; IN THIS CASE, CUSTOMER SHALL PICK-UP GOODS AT THE UPS OR DHL (FORWARDER) BRANCH CLOSEST TO THE CUSTOMER’S ADDRESS OR AT A UPS ACCESS POINT. 

7.6. FOR LARGE SIZE PRODUCTS SHIPPING COSTS MAY VARY FROM WHAT INDICATED IN POINT 7.3., THE AMOUNT TO BE CORRESPONDED WILL BE CALCULATED AT CHECKOUT AND NOTIFIED TO CUSTOMER BEFORE MAKING THE PURCHASE

7.7. IN THE EVENT THAT MANY PIECES OF ONE OR MORE PRODUCTS ARE PURCHASED OR THE PRODUCT PURCHASED REQUIRES A VERY VOLUMINOUS PACKAGE, SUGAR'S CUSTOMER SERVICE WILL CONTACT CUSTOMER BY E-MAIL (AT THE E-MAIL ADDRESS INCLUDED IN ORDER CONFIRMATION) TO REQUEST EXTRA PAYMENT FOR THE SHIPPING OF VOLUMINOUS PACKAGES; THE AMOUNT TO BE PAID WILL BE CALCULATED BY VOLUME OF THE PACKAGE AND THE PAYMENT REQUEST WILL BE SENT BY THE PAYMENT METHOD USED FOR THE PURCHASE, UNLESS OTHER AGREEMENTS ARE AGREED WITH CUSTOMER.

7.8. CUSTOMER MAY CHOOSE THE PICK-UP IN STORE OPTION, AT OUR STORE LOCATED IN CORSO ITALIA 60, 52100 AREZZO, ITALY.
FOLLOWING ORDER CONFIRMATION, CUSTOMER WILL RECEIVE A FURTHER EMAIL CONFIRMING THAT HIS ORDER IS READY PICK-UP, THEREFORE UNTIL THIS COMMUNICATION IS RECEIVED YOUR ORDER MAY NOT BE READY FOR PICKUP.
FROM THE DAY THAT CUSTOMER RECEIVES NOTICE THAT HIS ORDER IS READY FOR PICK-UP, HE WILL HAVE 7 WORKING DAYS TO MAKE THE PICK-UP, AFTER WHICH, UNLESS OTHER NOTICE IS GIVEN, SUGAR WILL PROCESS THE CANCELLATION AND REFUND OF THE ORDER.

    8. PARCEL TRACKING

8.1. ONCE THE ORDER REACHES THE CARRIER, UPS OR DHL WILL SEND THE CUSTOMER A NOTIFICATION E-MAIL WITH THE ORDER WAYBILL NUMBER (AWB). 

IN ORDER TO TRACK THE SHIPPING STATUS, CUSTOMER CAN VISIT HTTP://WWW.UPS.COM OR HTTPS://WWW.DHL.COM AND TYPE IN THE DEDICATED SEARCH AREA THE AWB NUMBER STATED IN THE E-MAIL.

   9. FAILURE TO DELIVER 

9.1. BY REGISTERING AN ORDER, CUSTOMER ENGAGES IN A COMMERCIAL RELATIONSHIP WITH SUGAR.IT AND COMMITS TO ACCEPT THE PARCEL DELIVERY RELATED TO THE ORDER MADE. WHERE A PARCEL IS NOT DELIVERED TO THE CUSTOMER’S ADDRESS FOR REASONS RELATED TO THE CUSTOMER’S NON-COOPERATION (INCOMPLETE/INCORRECT PHONE NUMBER, RECIPIENT NOT AVAILABLE) OR WHERE THE CUSTOMER REFUSES THE DELIVERY, PARCEL WILL BE RESENT TO SUGAR.IT (THE SENDER) IN ITALY AT CUSTOMER’S EXPENSE. COSTS CHARGED TO THE CUSTOMER INCLUDE SHIPPING FEES AND ANY CUSTOMS FEE; THESE COSTS WILL BE WITHHELD FROM THE AMOUNT DUE TO THE CUSTOMER.
